Inside the interface

Inspect the request without losing the event

The captured workspace keeps the event history beside the request being investigated.

  1. Keep the event in view

The left-hand list preserves the sequence of received requests.

  2. Inspect and replay

Body, headers, and response tabs share the detail pane with the Replay action. The capture shows a failed request, a useful state during debugging.

The challenge

An event can disappear before a bug is understood.

Debugging webhook integrations (like Stripe charges, GitHub events, or SendGrid webhooks) is tedious. Developers are forced to trigger external production actions manually, wait for the delivery, and inspect local logs. If the local dev server crashes or is restarted, the webhook payload is lost and must be triggered all over again.

The experience

Receive, inspect, and replay.

  1. Receive an event

  2. Record payload & headers

  3. Inspect the request

  4. Replay to localhost

What we built

A shorter loop for integration debugging.

We built Webhook DVR as a local proxy box. It intercepts webhooks on a public endpoint, records the exact payload and headers locally, and lets you replay them instantly to your localhost target with a single click. You trigger the external event once, and build your integration offline with no more API calls.

Preserve the useful request

The tool records the payload and headers needed to reproduce a webhook request during development.

Separate replay from the original trigger

A captured event can be sent to a local target again, reducing the need to repeat the external action that created it.

Keep the debugging loop close

A local proxy and replay flow support iteration on the receiving integration.
