Worqship (“we,” “us,” “our”) is based in Lahore, Pakistan, and operates worqship.com and a remote team working with clients internationally. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the site, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.
What we collect
We collect different data depending on how you interact with the site:
- Contact form — your name, email address, and message content, sent to us to respond to your enquiry.
- Review submissions — your name, role, company (optional), rating, and review text. Reviews are stored privately until we approve them for publication; you can request removal at any time.
- Job applications — your name, email, phone number, university, degree, a link to your CV/résumé, and optionally your GitHub/LinkedIn profiles and a cover letter.
- Usage data — pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and referral source, collected automatically via Google Analytics.
Third-party services we use
We rely on a small number of external services to run the site and our process. Data you submit may pass through:
- Google Analytics — website usage analytics. Uses cookies to distinguish visitors.
- Google Firebase (Firestore) — stores review and job application submissions.
- EmailJS — delivers messages submitted through the contact form to our inbox.
- Calendly — powers the scoping-call booking widget on our Contact page, if you choose to use it.
Each of these providers processes data under their own privacy policy. We only send them the data described above — never more than the form you filled in.
How we use your data
- To respond to enquiries submitted through the contact form.
- To evaluate job applications for open roles.
- To review and, if approved, publish testimonials on the site.
- To understand how visitors use the site, so we can improve it.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or share it with third parties beyond the service providers listed above.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies to measure site usage. You can block or delete these at any time through your browser settings, or use a browser extension that blocks analytics scripts — this doesn't affect your ability to use the site.
Data retention
We keep contact form messages and job applications for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you or evaluate your application, and delete them on request. Approved reviews are kept until you ask us to remove them.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to tell you what data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email worqship@gmail.com and we'll action it promptly.
Changes to this policy
If we materially change how we collect or use data, we'll update this page and change the “last updated” date above.
